Optigestix

Overview

Optigestix is an Aavitech product: an ERP written specifically for project-based building businesses rather than adapted from a generic one. Fourteen-plus integrated modules carry a job from the first quotation through site visits, purchase and expense tracking, specification management and milestone billing to the final invoice - on a web portal for the office and an Android app for the site.

The challenge

Construction, architecture and interior design firms run their businesses across spreadsheets, WhatsApp groups and disconnected accounting tools. Generic ERPs do not know what a site visit log, a finish specification or a milestone-based interior billing cycle is, so the workflows never quite fit and the numbers arrive too late to act on.

Our solution

We built a single platform around the way these firms actually work: projects with tasks, roles and scheduled site visits; quotations broken into sections and milestones; invoices, bills, expenses and pay-in/out tracking; a products and specifications catalogue organised by type, finish and discipline; 360 virtual tours embedded straight into a project for client presentations; and real-time dashboards over the lot. Role-based access control, secure authentication and cloud sync keep an office team, a site team and a client working from the same data.
